Free Snowshoe Tour

Who? Everyone is welcome!
What? Beginner snowshoe tour focusing on learning how tall-grass prairie species survive harsh winters and searching for wildlife signs. If you have ever wanted to try snowshoeing, now is your chance!
Where? Agassiz Interpretive Trail, 7km west of Vita just off Highway 201 (turn north on Road 9N)
When? Saturday, February 11th, 10am-12pm (weather dependent)
Why? The tall-grass prairie is an explosion of life in the summer months. During the harsh winter, life must find a way to survive. There is much to discover!

What to bring? Snowshoes will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you have them. Weather-appropriate clothing and boots. Anything else you may need for a 2km walk.
