Saturday August 12 was the perfect day to learn more about the natural heritage that surrounds us!
Prairie Day is an annual event held on the Prairie Shore Interpretive Trail near Tolstoi, MB. It’s a day for the whole family to learn about local plant life, insects, amphibians and much more!
Participants learnt about local medicinal plants, rare salamanders, and got a guided tour of the Prairie Shore Trail.
The day couldn’t have been better!
