From sheep, to cows, to horses, to butterflies, Open Farm Day in Sunrise Corner was definitely worth the trip!
There were four Open Farms this September, located in Sunrise Corner, for curious individuals and families to explore:
- Friesen & Ceron Sheep Farm- Zhoda, MB
- Moonshadow Holsteins Inc. – St. Labre, MB
- Nature’s Conservancy of Canada Weston Family Interpretive Centre – Gardenton, MB
- Green Pastures Farm – Gardenton, MB
Open Farm Day is a great way to get out and see the traditional practice of farming that is still active all around us. The farms listed in http://openfarmday.ca welcome visitors with open arms and are ready to share the pride of agriculture with the world!
