Carrick Days: This small-town festival is big-time fun!
August 12 was the kick off to Carrick Days – with a horse shoe tournament, toe-tapping bands, a watermelon eating contest, mechanical bull riding and more!
Friends and family from near and far gathered in the clearing of the historic Spurgrave Schoolhouse and celebrated summer.
There was something for everybody! Youngsters escaped the heat by getting into the dunk tank. Teens tested their skill on the mechanical bull. And if you were feeling charitable, you could always have a friend or family member arrested and bailed out of the Carrick Jail – hey, it’s for charity!
