March 2023 Economic Development Update:
Sunrise Corner is working on an investment readiness assessment and business attraction strategy. What’s that? It’s an in-depth plan and comprehensive toolkit to promote Sunrise Corner as an incredible place to live, work, play, visit, invest and explore, known for sustainable economic development balancing exceptional rural quality of life.
The project will serve as a means to market our competitive advantages while targeting strategies for local economic diversification, building off our recently published community profile. The resulting toolkit will include detailed economic sector profiles with substantiated business cases, along with mapping tools to help us showcase our advantages.
What We Need From You
As a valued resident and/or business owner in Sunrise Corner, we are seeking your input specifically on the following economic sectors and their opportunities:
- Outdoor Recreation & Tourism
- Residential Development
- Agriculture, Food & Beverage
- Forestry
- Start Ups & Small Businesses
- Other Ideas
To truly understand the opportunities, we welcome you to share your perspective on each of these sectors that we believe hold significant economic potential and should be strategically promoted throughout the region. Your input will help us refine the narrative and define specific business investment opportunities.
