Skijoring & Kicksled Race

As part of the Vita & Area Winter Festival, enjoy the exhilarating Skijor & Kicksled Race on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

8:30 am – Mushers meet at the race staging area at the west end of Vita

9 am – 2-dog skijor and kicksled 4-km race (mass start)

9:45 am – 1-dog skijor and kicksled 4-km race (mass start)

And don’t forget to take care of all the other free activities available at the Vita Arena and Curling Club as part of the Winter Festival festivities.
