Description of duties: The groundskeepers are responsible for spring clean-up, lawn mowing, and flower bed maintenance and watering. Volunteers may choose their hours and level of involvement, committing to any or all of these duties on a one-time or ongoing basis as their time allows. All commitments are valued. The Sprague & District Historical Museum hours of operation are from 1-5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, June through early September so ensuring the grounds look their best at the end of the week to welcome weekend visitors would be ideal.
Skills/experience requirements: Safe operation of lawn maintenance equipment would be an asset. The museum owns and houses onsite all the equipment necessary to maintain the grounds. Fuel is provided for lawn mower.
