The Piney Stuartburn Economic Development District board, comprised of two councillors from each of the two RMs, is the guiding force behind Sunrise Corner.
At regular meetings, the board of directors discusses initiatives, programs, events, policies and finances, all intended to deliver forward-thinking economic development services and opportunities in Sunrise Corner. The board’s ultimate goal is to promote our region as an incredible place to live, work, play, visit, invest and explore.
Meetings are open to the public. If you would like to appear as a delegation to speak with the board, please register in writing by 4:30 pm at least three days prior to the meeting you wish to attend with an overview of your topic. You will have a maximum of 15 minutes for your presentation.
The agenda for each meeting will be posted in the municipal offices of the RMs of Piney and Stuartburn and on this website three days before each meeting. Meeting minutes and financial statements will be posted in the same manner within five days after each meeting. Please note that agendas and minutes posted are drafts and not approved by the board. All financial statements posted on the website are unaudited internal statements. Bylaws and policies are approved by the board.
