Piney Regional Senior Services
The Piney Regional Senior Services is looking to fill the Cook position for the Piney Meal Program. The Cook is responsible for providing nutritious meals and social support to local seniors and people with disabilities in a congregate dining setting.
Skills:
- Experience in food preparations for large groups and basic knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide.
- Willingness to learn about special cooking, dietary needs or food preparation for seniors.
- Ability to work with, coordinate and schedule volunteers.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- CPR certification and computer knowledge an asset.
Conditions of Employment:
- Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and Adult Abuse Registry.
- Must have or willing to take a Food Handling Course.
- Have a valid Driver’s License.
- 3 days – 18 hours a week.
- Starting wage $18.00 per hour.
