HOMETOWN GREENTEAM OPPORTUNITY
The Rural Municipality of Stuartburn has 2 positions available for the 2026 Hometown Green Team (subject to receipt of Green Team Funding).
PUBLIC WORKS ASSISTANT/COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION
Position runs for approximately 12 weeks starting as early as June 2nd, 2026 at approximately 35 hours per week (hours may vary dependent on weather).
Scheduled work hours will be 9 am – 4 pm, Monday-Friday and the occasional Saturday and weekday evening.
Duties shall include helping with street/road enhancements, helping with garbage/ recycling collection, picking up litter and/or remove old signage/flyers from public areas, cutting grass in public spaces, various responsibilities for the Public Works Department and Landfill Attendant duties.
Requirements: Must be between 16-29 years of age
Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
May be required to obtain a vulnerable sector check and criminal record check
