Child Care Assistant, Summer Term Position
Through the Canada Summer Job Program
The position starts on Monday, June 30, and will end on Friday, August 22, 2025.
The Ideal Candidate Must
- be between 18 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
- be attending a post Secondary Education Institution or planning to attend in the Fall of 2025
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment** and
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Check
- Current First Aid and CPR level C, if possible but not necessary
- Able and willing to participate in a team-based work environment
