Tall Grass Prairie Nocturnal Owl Survey

Join NCC for an evening of birding by moonlight. Kicking off a half-hour after sunset, volunteers will participate on an owl survey route at the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve.

This is a chance to learn more about Manitoba’s owls while contributing to a long-term citizen science project. The data collected will be used to inform conservation planning and incorporated into the Manitoba Nocturnal Owl Survey project.
