Sprague Museum Opening Day

The Sprague & District Historical Museum is excited to open today for the summer season, We’ll be open every Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 pm starting June 3rd, 2023 until September long weekend. Visits on other days of the week are available by appointment, call Doris 204-437-2210.
All buildings are wheelchair accessible. Admission is free; donations are greatly appreciated.
The Sprague & District Historical Museum is a multi-building display of local history, spanning from the nineteenth century to present day. It features a CN Rail telegraph office, an original barber shop, a trapper’s cabin and church building. In addition to a veteran’s monument, the museum also features records of all the local veterans who served in WWI and WWII as well as personal letters, large picture displays and records of every RM community and organization spanning from churches to sports.
We look forward to seeing you this summer to share the history of our communities and how we’ve grown through the years.
